Lake District Hotels
Over the years I`ve been lucky enough to stay in a number or large chain hotels that offered high levels of comfort, a sense of luxury and fine facilities for paying guests. The one thing that corporate hotels tend to lack though, is a sense of charm. Experience has taught me that I`d much rather find a cheery guest house when I stay in various parts of the UK. There are a number of locations in the UK that I like to travel back to when I can and the Lake District sits right at the top of the list. When I look at the vast amount of Lake District Hotelsthat are available I tend to be spoilt for choice. The last time I looked online at Lake District HotelsI made a real discovery. I managed to locate a stunning guest house that had been refurbished to an exceptional standard over the last two years. A choice of rooms was available within this fine establishment and I settled for an executive double. It was such a delight to be greeted by tasteful décor, fine furnishings and a warm welcome by the friendly hosts. These days I try not to stay in large chain Lake District Hotelsif I can help it, especially when great value for money guest houses can be sought instead.

Hotels Stansted
My friend is looking at having a hen party in the near future and she has decided on Stansted as the place to have it as many people will be flying into the country from abroad. She thought that this would be the ideal meeting point with nobody having to travel too far and has accordingly been looking at Hotels Stansted for us all to stay for the weekend. Of course, with the airport being there, there are a lot of Hotels Stansted to choose from but my frriend wanted to make sure that she chose somewhere reasonable as well as luxurious for us all to stay in. However, most of the Hotels Stansted that she looked at were far to corporate and impersonal for the sort of weekend we were planning. Thankfully, she found somewhere eventually that she is really pleased with. It seems like a really boutique type of place with Egyptian cotton bed linen and individually designed rooms. What is more it is very close to numerous bars and restaurants which is just what we are looking for. I am really excited as we all get on together brilliantly and I just know we are going to have the most wonderful time.

Hotel Llandudno
As part of a family holiday to North Wales we took a trip to Llandudno because I hadn`t been there since I was a young lad. It was exactly the same as I could remember with its charming promenade and fabulous cable car system which ran up to the Great Orme. We were staying in a caravan about 10 miles away from Llandudno but we liked the place so much we booked into a hotel for the night. It seemed such a shame to cut the journey short when there seemed to be so much to see and do. The Hotel Llandudnothat we booked into was directly facing the promenade and it couldn`t have been better located. As the daylight started to fade we could see the lights on the promenade twinkle into life, whilst the views of the sea were pretty amazing. Our Hotel Llandudnowas a four star establishment and this was reflected in the quality of the décor and the customer service levels in general. The owners of the luxury Hotel Llandudnocouldn`t do enough for us during our brief stay and we vowed that we`d return there for a longer break at some time in the future.
